About University
The Ayush and Health Science University of Chhattisgarh. Act, 2008 was enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature. The University was established on 16th September, 2008. It has now been named Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Science and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh.
Objective of The University
The main objective of me University is to disseminate, create and preserve knowledge of health sciences and understanding by teaching, research, extension of education and service by effective demonstration.
Functions of The University
The University is particularly taking care of training of the teachers of various faculties, organizing lectures by eminent scholars to help study of health science, and promoting research in Medical & Ayurveda science and specially on locally available herbal plants.
